We enjoyed a special evening celebration marking the 20th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Cameron Park Community Observatory from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The Observatory remains one of the club's proudest achievements and, to date, our largest service project. Built by Rotarians as part of our Centennial Rotary Project, the Observatory stands as a lasting symbol of Rotary’s commitment to education, science, and community enrichment. There have been 153,000 visitors thus far!

The evening's keynote presentation highlighted the history of the Observatory and the Grahek-Lockhart Imaging Observatory.  Guest speakers included our own Bill Ettlich and longtime Observatory partners.

A special thank you goes to Bill for representing us and to the outstanding docents for making this memorable celebration fun and successful.
