Frank Porter has lived in EDC since 1985.  He is a retired school superintendent, principal and teacher.  In his retirement, he works on housing issues with community organizations and local governments.
Frank is a member of the newly established nonprofit Housing El Dorado, which was established to “create and promote affordable housing solutions and support services that nurture individuals and families while encouraging self-sufficiency.”  He will talk to us about Housing El Dorado as well as the Pathways Project, which was launched with partners - Green Valley Church, Upper Room Dining Hall, Nomadic Ministries and the El Dorado Community Foundation - to address the winter lodging and support for homeless residents.
