Annual Rotary Club of Cameron Park Foundation Meeting
Sep 02, 2021 12:00 PM
Our program will be the annual presentation of the CP Rotary Foundation led by Chair Dave Sargent. We will also be announcing an opening on the Board (due to Roger Hassler's move to Idaho) and encouraging members to contact Anne Eckert or Dave if they are interested in serving on the Foundation's Board. We will also hear about Darol Rasmussen, the Rotarian who set up a matching grant for $100,000 for the club to start the foundation. And, once and for all, we will figure out the difference between the RI Foundation and our foundation, the CP Rotary Community Foundation! |

The El Dorado County Amateur Radio Club and Neighborhood Radio Watch
Sep 30, 2021 12:00 PM
The El Dorado County Amateur Radio Club has been supplying radio communications support for small- and large-animal Rescue efforts being conducted by the South County Large Animal Rescue Group (http://www.sclar.org/) and El Dorado County Animal Services. Many of their Volunteers are also Members of the Club's Neighborhood Radio Watch program: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NeighborhoodRadioWatch
During the Caldor Fire evacuations, many area residents had to flee their homes without having time to round up their pets and livestock. The SCLAR desperately love their animal companions, and have been conducting regular animal rescue and welfare checks to assist friends and neighbors during this difficult time for our community.

Pioneer Community Energy
Feb 03, 2022 12:00 PM
Pioneer Community Energy is now the default energy provider for our county, which means customers are scheduled to be enrolled automatically to ensure everyone has fair and equal access to Pioneer benefits - and then customers choose to allow the enrollment or remain with PG&E. What does Pioneer do for its customers? Our community? This will be a very important meeting to learn about the choices for our future energy providers. |
