ADG Vickie announced the Tree-Lighting Ceremony at McCullough Park is at 5:00 pm on Nov. 30th.

Vickie also noted that our district's Avenues of Service meeting in Reno/Sparks on Aug. 8th was well-attended and people were definitely energized by the program and the fellowship.  The Club Leadership conference in April is quite different but also very educational and inspiring.  

Bob Clarke announced that 15 boxes of dictionaries for the Dictionary Project arrived at his house in a truck with a 50 ft. trailer.  He had a pretty amusing story of the challenges of Latrobe's 1-lane road for this vehicle.

Bill Ettlich noted that the final accounting is not in yet, but that August's Rotary Golf Tournament netted the club between $8K and $9K.  This is very close to what was budgeted, but early on, it did not look like it would be this successful.  He also reminded people that he is the substitute treasurer at this time in case they want to pay a bill or get a check for some expense.
