[Dark at the Cameron Park Country Club]  We will meet at Ulla Petersen's house with President-elect Cathy Dugan leading us in brainstorming for ideas on projects, service, fundraising and publicity for the next year in our Rotary Club. Besides all that, there will be a catered lunch and we meet in the delightful setting of Ulla's back yard. Members received an initial "brainstorming" document from Mike Dugan via email to stimulate your imagination in the right direction. That document also had Ulla's address. visit to La Calle Real in November. Key to our work in Nicaragua is our partner the Worldwide Child Relief Foundation (WCRF). WCRF was established by our very own Hal Young 20 years ago. They built a community center and in recent years we have partnered with them to build a sports court, add lights to the court, and also some emergency repairs to their water system including a well pump and electrical transformer.

Steve Long: 11 bikes and helmets were delivered last Tuesday to Sutter Mill Elementary School for their annual 1st grade bike rodeo. The rodeo was to be the next day. While we were there somebody left an adult bike to be contributed to our program. The employee who manages the rodeo was delighted.
