Please join us for a very entertaining presentation by Sid Bazett and Sharon Nelson about travel to Egypt and on the Nile, one of those exotic trips on many of our "bucket lists". Sid is currently a member of the CP Rotary Club and serves on the board as the Youth Chair. He is also the President of the CSD board and is active in many community activities. From Oregon, Sid graduated from UC Berkely and served in the Peace Corp in Tonga in the South Pacific. With a master's in special education, Sid has taught Special Ed and was a school psychologist as well. Committed to youth, he is also a well-traveled adventurer. Sharon has been retired from the medical field for five years. She worked as a clinical lab scientist for almost 40 years in a few hospitals, finishing at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. I miss my friends in the Bay Area but it was too expensive to retire there. Love El Dorado County. I belong to two book clubs, my church choir, and Soroptimist International. I’m also a moderator for a Facebook fan club about the campy, cult status soap Dark Shadows that aired in ABC during 1966 to 1971. |
