Last Meeting, May 09:  Shawna Copeland, Hands on Travel
For the last 20 years Shawna Copeland has been helping people turn their travel dreams into reality.. Shawna would love to help you plan your next trip.  She is the owner and founder of Hands On Travel of Folsom, CA.

Shawna is a native of Placerville and went to El Dorado High School and Sac State. She has lived and studied in many countries around the world and is fluent in Spanish. After long stay in Thailand, her Dad told her that she needed to "get a job". She worked at several travel agencies and mostly at AAA for 17 years. In the midst of the pandemic she started her own agency, Hands On Travel. Today, she has five agents who work for her.  Her specialty is Foreign Independent Travel (FIT).  FIT, primarily in Europe. It takes her 4-6 hours to put together a personal travel plan to accommodate hotels, restaurants, trains, air, you name it, to match individual desires for travel. She also mentioned that Africa is her favorite destination. Travel alert: "Repositioning Cruises" can be bargains because they take advantage of when cruise lines move ships from the Atlantic the Caribbean and the Pacific to match seasonal changes. Shawna's agencies knows about those good deals. Go to the link Hands On Travel  for contact information.
