Big news from the 2026 Rotary multi-district conference at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Our club’s music contest winner, Lucas Dapremont, competed Saturday against 10 other area winners and took first place with his piano performance, earning a $1,000 award!
The Rotary Club of Cameron Park was also honored with a District RAVE Award recognizing our Community Foundation’s vocational grants program.
In other conference fun, our bowling team—President Adam, Sally Marshall, Gary Clarke, Dave Sargent, and Don Fuller—represented the club well. While they didn’t take home a trophy, their efforts supported the tournament’s goal of helping to strike out polio. The Petaluma club, who shared the lane with our team, captured the Best Dressed award and proved to be great company throughout the competition.
