Our club has reserved 20 seats for our lunch meeting on February 15th at the Red Hawk Casino - APEX Meeting Room. (We will NOT be meeting at the Country Club.) You must sign up in advance with Marlyn Pino-Jones, cost is $20. So far we have 19 members going and President Cathy plans to check if we can add more members to the list.
This is a Northern California Peace Officers' Association luncheon hosted by our Sheriff Jeff Leikauf. We will receive updates from the Sheriff, Placerville and South Lake Tahoe PD and CHP, and the Tribal Police. Doors open at 11:00 AM and lunch is served at noon. The Apex, an 85,000-square-foot amusement complex above the parking garage, features bowling, indoor go-karting, golf simulators, and virtual reality gaming.
Directions: Take US50 e/b from Cameron Park towards Placerville. Take exit 40 to Red Hawk Parkway and park in the garage. Take the elevator to the 7th floor, which is called the "Casino" floor. When you get out of the elevator, one side is the casino and the other side is the APEX. Go to the APEX (opposite side of casino). Conference room is straight back on the left.
