The recipients are:
Emmett Clark (GPA 4.30) plans to attend UC Berkeley or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to study electrical engineering. He played soccer at Ponderosa, was a member of Rotary-sponsored Interact Club and the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), and logged more than 20 hours of community service annually.
Grace Xu (GPA 4.31) will attend UC Davis or Case Western Reserve University as a pre-med student, with the goal of becoming an anesthesiologist. She served twice as a Key Club officer, was active in CSF, and volunteered extensively at Mercy Hospital in Folsom.
Kyle Reagan (GPA 4.29) plans to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design to study visual effects and filmmaking. He brings strong technical skills, is an accomplished piano soloist, played four years of tennis, and founded the local “Bruincast” podcast.
Lily Henkle (GPA 4.20) will attend New York University to study history. She participated in Associated Student Body leadership for four years, managed the student store for two years, and is an accomplished piano soloist. She also volunteered through the Hands4Hope club.
Zachary Pfeifer (GPA 3.80) will attend Oregon State University to study environmental science. He serves as president of the Interact Club and has contributed many volunteer hours through Interact and CSF. A self-taught guitarist, he now performs with his own band.
Gabriella Leal (GPA 4.10), who was unable to attend due to a cheerleading competition, plans to attend Vanguard University of Southern California to pursue a degree in nursing, with the goal of becoming a registered nurse. She was active in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and cheerleading for four years, and served on Link Crew, helping welcome and mentor incoming freshmen.
